NELASA 2010

The I NELASA Assembly General (New England Luso American Soccer Association), on January 15, in Brockton Sodade Restaurant, did not bring many surprises. After a year off, the former vice-president Carlos "Bibi" Amado replaces Mario "Betinho" Santos, the first President of the Capeverdean soccer league in the US.

Bibi, who leaves his post as the president of one of the most prestigious teams in NELASA, Emigrantes das Ilhas, was happy with the decisions. The new president said that it is impossible to replace Betinho, but he will do his best perfoming his duty.

As promised, Betinho will remain involved with the league, more specifically in the Disciplinary Committee.
